EG.D, a.s. owns, operates, manages and develops the electricity and gas distribution networks. We supply 1.5 million customers with electricity in the South Moravia and South Bohemia Regions, in Vysočina and partly in the Zlín Region. We are in charge of gas distribution in the South Bohemia Region. We make sure that both electricity and gas reach customers from homes, businesses and cities in a fast, safe and reliable way. That is why we invest more than CZK 5 billion every year in maintaining the distribution network, much of which is spent on the deployment of smart technologies and digitalization.
We are looking for a head of Investment Controlling to join our EG.D, a.s. team. Join us in Prague, Brno or České Budějovice.
In this role you will
- holistically manage the Investment Controlling in our DSO with a team of 5 colleagues.
- carry out investment controlling responsible for investments of more than 200m€ p.a., governing the controlling cycle of mid-term planning, budgeting, and forecasting, active performance management of core investment processes. Close cooperation with Regulation department, participation on preparation of long-term investment plans.
- cooperate on a setup of new controlling steering model, further improvement of internal efficiency and transparency in investment process incl. implementation new performance KPIs and link to company strategy.
- analyze and comment on business developments, proactively providing decision-relevant information, and drawing up recommendations for actions for all relevant stakeholders.
- engage in the professional development of your direct reports and actively contribute to wider Finance community

- comprehensive and well-founded controlling knowledge based on relevant academic degree and profound working experience in controlling
- track record in successful leading people, outstanding leadership experience with ability to motivate and support high performing team and lead it through the change
- integral and trustworthy personality with positive mindset and positive can-do attitude
- experienced to structure and solve problems
- strong team player with ability to build and use reliable relationships and networks with stakeholders
- excellent business acumen, commercial mindset and negotiation skills
- fluency in Czech and English
