Job description:
  • After an ownership change innogy Česká republika is in need of an experienced and resourceful specialists for its M&A and Special Projects to manage mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and who is able to act on business opportunities in existing and on new markets in a team supervised by Chief Strategy Officer. We're searching for professionals that have a solid track record of creating long-term value for organizations. First and foremost, we're looking for an individual who understands how to capitalize on business trends and opportunities. Candidates should have strong communication skills, as well as the ability to manage projects with internal and external participants.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Operatively managing M&A and restructuring transactions (including but not limited to entity establishments, merger/demergers, divestments, etc) from NDA through negotiations till the target’s integration in to the MVM group
  • Participating, coordinating and controlling internal and external advisors, project teams, including supervising the due diligence process, preparation of transaction documents, ensuring that the MVM Group’s consultation mechanism and internal business development processes are complied with
  • Preparing internal materials for the decision making process
  • Actively participates in the identification and qualification of business opportunities and/or M&A targets
What skills you need?
  • Extensive knowledge of M&A financial standards, processes, procedures and guidelines - master’s degree is a must, post graduate qualification is an advantage
  • Industry knowledge (energy and utilities sector)
  • High level of financial and valuation expertise is an advantage
  • Good negotiation skills and experience
  • Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Czech language native/fluent, English language fluent
