Your Role: As a Platform Engineer, you will develop the foundation supercharging the team. You will enable best practices in developement and make everyone around highly effective using new technologies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up automation to enhance data flow efficiency using technologies like Kafka, Apache Iceberg on minio.
- Designing, developing and deploying to production.
- Enhancing supporting applications and platforms for intraday trading, including data manipulation, cleaning, analysis, and model creation. Scaling systems to handle more data and larger markets globally, solving new challenges to maintain competitive advantage.
Technologies & Tools: You will work with a variety of modern technologies (from the areas of data engineering, devops and software engineering), including:
Python, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Dask, Ray, Iceberg, Trino, OpenShift, AWS, Kafka, Amazon S3, Jenkins, Airflow, MLflow, Grafana

Requirements:
- University degree in IT, technical, or natural sciences (e.g., computer science, statistics, mathematics, AI, or related fields).
- Experience with the abovementioned + other infrastructure components enabling developers and researchers to work effectively
- Independence, conscientiousness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
