E.ON Energie, a.s. supplies electricity and gas to more than one million customers in the Czech Republic. We supply homes and large manufacturing companies, small municipalities and large cities. That makes us the second largest supplier on the domestic market. On top of that, a full quarter of the electricity we buy comes from renewable sources. In Customer Solutions, we also implement a number of smart solutions for our customers, such as photovoltaics, home heating and e-mobility.

We are looking for a new team leader for our Sales B2C department. This is the position of a leader who will be responsible for development in in our newly emerging department and managing of 100 internal and external colleagues. The position will report directly to a board member. You can join us in České Budějovice, Brno or Prague.

Essential responsibilities of the role

  • Management of the sales department in order to achieve business and financial goals
  • Driving sales activities, achieving targets for energy products, services, and solutions identifying new business opportunities
  • Team leadership, guidance, support, and mentorship, to foster a results-driven team culture
  • Proactive problem-solving and collaboration with internal technical teams are essential to ensure that customer needs are met
  • Negotiating and closing sales agreements and contracts, aligning terms with the company's goals and policies
  • Monitor trends in the energy sector and contribute to the development of sales strategies based on market changes
  • Regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline development, and team performance
  • Management of relations with external partners
  • Managing digital sales and online customer journeys

  • Planning and management of acquisition budgets and supervision of acquisition costs
  • Active participation in E.ON international meetings of acquisition and retention teams

What we expect from you?

  • A minimum of 8 years of solid experience within sales/key account management in areas of digital sales, online acquisitions or the role of board member in smaller company (CCO, COO)
  • Advantage is MSc/BSc degree in business or engineering
  • Success in building and maintaining client relationships, achieving sales goals
  • Experience leading teams
  • Leadership skills are essential, with the capability to inspire and motivate a sales team towards common goals
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are paramount, encompassing the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in digital sales and open mind for energy sector or strong technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts
  • Experience with digitalization and customer journeys is a big advantage
  • Knowledge of energy solutions is an advantage
  • Fluent Czech and English
