Junior Trading Analyst (Energy Markets)

Sev.en Commodities AG trades in electricity, coal and emission allowances markets through energy exchanges, brokers, and trade counterparties. It is currently ongoing an expansion of activities, with gas trading and global coking coal planned to start operations in 2021-2022.
Sev.en Commodities AG also provides production optimization, hedging, and dispatch control for Seven Energy group assets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and participate in execution of trading strategies
- Assist the team in developing and enhancing analytical processes
- Identify short and longer term opportunities based on micro and macro fundamentals
- Participate in portfolio construction and risk-taking decisions
- Use new and existing insights to support idea generation and commodity analysis
- Challenge consensus views and monitor volatility
