Czech energy sector's biggest event of the year on flexibility

A key platform for discussing the development of aggregation and flexibility in the Czech energy sector

The Czech energy sector is on the threshold of a major transformation. The growing share of renewable energy sources is changing the electricity market and creating a need for a new approach to flexibility. Experts will discuss the issue in October at the Aggregation and Flexibility 2025 conference, organised by the AKU-BAT Association.

The programme will feature five thematic sessions and more than 430 minutes of expert content. More than 25 speakers from the Czech Republic and across Europe will take the stage, including representatives of SolarPower Europe, Rystad Energy, ČEPS, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Energy Regulatory Office. Discussions will cover the economic impacts of flexibility, energy storage options, connecting battery storage facilities to the grid, and integrating European markets through the Alpaca platform and shorter aFRR trading intervals.

For aggregators, the conference will be an opportunity to gain the latest know-how in data analytics and security. Manufacturers and builders of battery storage facilities will appreciate detailed information on grid connection options, particularly following the announcement by ČEZ Distribuce, which published specific dates. Investors, meanwhile, will find detailed forecasts and business models showing project returns as well as the risks associated with rapidly growing demand.

The conference is made possible by a strong group of partners. The main partners are Nano Energies, DELTA CAPACITY and Enery.SolarPower Europe is the expert partner.

The event is also supported by partners ČEPS, Sympower, Solar Global, LTW Battery, aggregaat, EVC Group and EnergoStation. Media partners are the Solar Association, Obnovitelné.cz, Pro-Energy.cz, TZB-Info.cz and Oenergetice.cz.

The event will therefore be more than an academic discussion: it will be a real platform bringing together manufacturers, aggregators, investors, distributors and regulators. Together, they will seek an answer to a key question: how can flexibility be integrated into the Czech and European electricity markets so that it becomes the foundation of their stability and competitiveness?
