ČEPS board member Radek Hartman elected chair of ENTSO-E ICT committee

At its meeting on 30 June 2022, the General Assembly of the European association of transmission system operators, ENTSO-E, elected Radek Hartman, a member of the Board of Directors of ČEPS, as chair of the newly established Information and Communication Technologies Committee (ICTC).

The committee, in which all 39 member transmission system operators are represented, will be tasked with managing and taking responsibility for the association’s activities concerning ICT infrastructure, as well as related products, services and standards, including information security.

“I greatly appreciate the confidence the association has placed in me by electing me chair of the ICT committee. I see my election above all as a great responsibility and commitment towards ENTSO-E members, and I am prepared to perform this role with the utmost dedication,” says Radek Hartman.

The committee’s inaugural meeting, chaired by Radek Hartman, took place on 6 July 2022, while its first regular meeting is scheduled for 15 September this year. Details on the committee’s composition, remit and meetings can be found on ENTSO-E’s dedicated page.
