Křetínský's Czech energy group EPH posts first-half profit of CZK 51 billion, boosted by new acquisition

Daniel Křetínský's Energy and Industrial Holding (EPH) recorded a net profit of 2.1 billion euros (about CZK 51.4 billion) in the first half of this year. Its profit rose from 602 million euros (more than CZK 14.63 billion) a year earlier. The results already reflect the acquisition of Slovenské elektrárne. EPH spokesperson Daniel Častvaj told the Czech News Agency (ČTK).
