Invitation to Czech conference: Unconventional sources of electricity

We are pleased to invite you to the 47th edition of the scientific and technical conference NZEE – Unconventional Sources of Electrical Energy. The conference is organised by the Professional Group for Chemical Sources of Electrical Energy of the Czech Electrotechnical Society, z. s., in cooperation with the Institute of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication of Brno University of Technology.
The NZEE conference has long served as a professional forum for presenting the latest research findings, technological developments and practical applications in electrical engineering, energy and electricity storage systems. It provides a space for academics, research organisations, industry partners and other professionals working in energy technologies to meet. It also supports the exchange of experience between academia and industry and helps establish new professional and research collaborations.
The 47th edition of the conference will take place at the beautiful new venue of Wellness & Spa RESORT VALACHY – Velké Karlovice (Javorníky Mountains) on June 1–3, 2026.
The conference’s thematic focus reflects current developments in renewable energy sources and zero-emission energy technologies. Discussions will address, among other topics, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the current European Union legislative framework for energy, and the electrification of transport. As is traditional, a significant part of the programme will focus on electricity storage, particularly battery systems, fuel cells and other alternative energy technologies.
NZEE conference partners: Škoda Auto, Czech Photovoltaic Association (ČFA), Pragolab, Conrad, Helago.
