WTI crude oil, sometimes referred to as “American light crude,” is defined by its delivery point at the Cushing trading hub in Oklahoma, United States. It is classified as a light, sweet crude oil, with a density of 827 kg/m³, equivalent to 39.6° API, and a sulphur content of 0.37%.
The live WTI crude oil prices shown below are exchange-traded prices for financially settled futures contracts. Trading in each monthly contract ends on the fourth business day before the 25th calendar day of the month preceding the delivery month. For example, the March 2023 contract, identified as Mar23, was last traded on 21 February 2023.
In 2026, the average price of the reference WTI crude oil contract is 81.67 USD/Barel (1,732 CZK/Barel).
