Junior Quantitative Analyst, Trading

What will you do?

• Design, implement, and maintain mathematical models for energy derivatives pricing, portfolio optimization and risk assessment
• Process and analyze various datasets to identify market trends and provide inputs for trading strategies.
• Cooperate with traders and market analysts on the identification of trading opportunities/testing the
  ideas
• Develop and refine internal tools and libraries (typically in Python, R, or MATLAB) to automate recurring analytical tasks and reporting.
• Act as a technical lead in discussions between analytical team, the trading desk, and risk departments to ensure model transparency and accuracy.

Skills you need to have:

• A university degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or Econometric
• Strong aspiration on the application of the quantitative methods in practice
• Understanding of stochastic calculus, time-series analysis, and numerical methods (e.g., Monte Carlo simulations).
• Ability to cooperate in a team
• Knowledge of modelling weather/climate related processes advantageous
