Job description:
  • After an ownership change innogy Česká republika is in need of an experienced and resourceful M&A and Special Projects Director to manage its mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and who is able to act on business opportunities in existing and on new markets. We're searching for professionals that have a solid track record of creating long-term value for organizations. First and foremost, we're looking for a leader who understands how to capitalize on business trends and opportunities. Candidates should have strong communication skills, excellent negotiation skills, as well as the ability to manage international project teams and projects with internal and external participants.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • In cooperation with the MVM Group headquarter’ specialists plan, lead and operatively manage M&A and restructuring transactions (including but not limited to entity establishments, merger/demergers, divestments, etc) in line with the medium and long term country strategy of the MVM Group and the commercial/market strategy of innogy CR
  • Participate, in cooperation with the Strategic Department of innogy CR and the MVM Group, in the identification and qualification of business opportunities and/or M&A targets
  • Responsible for the preparation of the integration strategy of the acquired companies to ensure business continuity and manage the implementation of such integration strategies in cooperation with the MVM Group headquarter, if required
  • Responsible for the regular and ad-hoc reporting on the fulfilment of various projects based on the requirements of the Hungarian headquarters
  • Manage the preparation of the decision making materials
What skills you need?
  • Extensive knowledge of M&A financial standards, processes, procedures and guidelines; appropriate legal M&A knowledge is an advantage
  • Industry knowledge (energy and utilities sector)
  • Good negotiation skills and experience
  • Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Czech language native/fluent, English language fluent
